As a user I want to save as much energy as possible to maximise the operation time be one charge of the battery. Turning on the LCD display all the time when the display is not visible from the outside would waste energy.

Software: intergrate the on/off function of the display by pressing a push button

Hardware: integrate a push button connected to a GPIO

Better to use a oled option on the setting webpage to turn it on and off permanently. There could be a variable stored which turns the display aon and off in the setup
