use new DAPHNEStream type #129

Opening as draft. Will test at NP04.

Tested at EHN1, and run 22420 looks to me like that datafiles look correct.

Note: this should be merged to develop, but the branch should probably be left open as I think it may be a good patch to have on v4.1.
