Applied suggestsions/comments from Alessandro:

-- Renamed the applications and utility tools -- Adapted the command line options and used "-" instead of "_" -- Provided a README with a description of the applications -- Added a "crude" script for plotting of the trigger primitive output

More tools and validations scripts will be added in the future. These include for example: -- Validation of Naive and AVX code + instructions (work in progress) -- Plotting, parsing, extracting data from TPStream files (work in progress)

@alessandrothea wasn't this supposed to go to a prep release branch? Or it's intentional for develop, so for the next release cycle?
