Research a way to make OPFOR AA toned down in such a way that BLUFOR helos can land closer to zones #89

Tyguy alright. is there any way to change what kinds of enemies spawn at the zones? like the composition of the squads or the amount of a specific unit per zone? I love this gametype, but the amount of AA troops that spawn in the zones is unreal. I just want to knock the AA down to maybe half of what there is so i can make chopper insertions viable without having to drop off 2km away.

i would like to get just outside of a target zone without getting lit up by 8 missiles one after the other... it's an outpost... not the whitehouse lol.

I'm guessing no one is going to read this, but since I've recently become interested in this project. Here goes nothing. Disclaimer: Never done arma scripting, I might be talking out of my rear.

Okay, So AA Infantrymen (O_Soldier_AA_F) are referenced in the following files:

and obviously these are referenced in:

So to 'fix' this, we can either:

  1. Remove the AA infantrymen
  2. Set a certain 'chance' to spawn
  3. Modify the group spawner to accept parameters and have the param set as part of init.
