Add Dark/Light Mode Toggle #31

Open ChaithanyaKrishna28 opened 5 months ago

ChaithanyaKrishna28 commented 5 months ago

Problem Statement: Currently, the website lacks a toggle functionality for switching between dark and light modes. This feature is increasingly expected by users and enhances accessibility, particularly in low-light environments.

Proposed Solution: Integrate a toggle button prominently placed on the website interface, allowing users to switch between dark and light modes according to their preference. This toggle should persist across sessions, providing a consistent experience for returning visitors. darkmode

Expected Behavior:

Users should be able to switch between dark and light modes seamlessly. The toggle button should reflect the current mode (e.g., a moon icon for dark mode and a sun icon for light mode). The selected mode should persist across sessions, maintaining user preferences.

@Dev-tanay The website currently lacks a toggle for switching between dark and light modes, a feature increasingly expected by users for enhanced accessibility, especially in low-light environments.

To address this, I propose integrating a prominent toggle button within the website interface. This toggle should persist across sessions, providing a consistent experience for returning visitors.

As a frontend developer with experience in UI/UX design, I'm ready to implement this feature effectively. You can find more about my background and projects on my LinkedIn profile :[https://www.linkedin.com/in/prajna-paul-117086256/] and my GitHub profile:[https://github.com/prajna321/].

Please assign this task to me.

Thank you!
