i.e. /entry/instrument/detector/saturation_value to some sensible value (~10,000 for 12.4keV photons)

See also: define and stick to exactly one mask value e.g. 0x8000_0000 or similar - at the moment we have a mix for this as the VDS and maybe -1 elsewhere?
