Was positive this wouldn't work on my board due to wildly different layout but wanted to try anyways. BIOS not for this motherboard error message when flashing with M-Flash.

Will try to rename BIOS file to my motherboard specific BIOS prefix and try again later today, will update when I have the results.

Sadly this did not work since version number & BIOS name are embedded into the file and I'm not sure how to rename it. Instead of learning how to simply rename it (probably still won't work if I rename it anyways), I might just try to learn how to actually mod my own BIOS by using yours as a sort of "template".

If successful, may I upload my modded BIOS for my board with your permission? :)

Update:

I tried to basically port over your modified BIOS to mine by using UEFITool to replace the following stock MSI X99A XPower Gaming Titanium BIOS parts by yours:

But leaving the rest of my BIOS. My thinking was that the BIOS'es are similar enough so I can get by, by only replacing these 3.

Well, eventually I was able to boot into Windows but when trying to access the BIOS, I get no screen and code bb ("reversed for future AMI codes" from the official manual). I do see the BIOS splash screen while booting tho....

Diving deeper into this tomorrow!

Hi

Your motherboard looks very similar with mine the godlike x99a variant. Except there's an another PCIe slot in yours. This should be kinda easy to port. If you release your own custom bios based on mine, yes you can, just credit this repo to make sure anyone with this motherboard know there's a custom bios available for it.

I'm kinda busy, and can't really help you in time but i'll try my best.

Thank you!

I've been working on the mod and so far I've unlocked IntelRCSetup along with some other hidden settings inside of the normal menus. Will implement the "Advanced" hidden menu soon and then release (with credits and link to your mod, of course) when it's all finished! :)

Do you mind telling me how you imported updated OROM firmware + microcode? Or maybe you have a guide you can share?

Once again, thank you!
