Zotero Pin Items

An extension for Zotero that allows you to pin items in your collections so they always appear at the top.

Installation

Note: This extension only works with Zotero 7

1. Download the latest release here
2. Save the .xpi file (in Firefox, Right click -> Save Link As)
3. Install in Zotero (Tools -> Plugins -> Gear icon in the top right -> Install Plugin From File -> Select the .xpi file you downloaded)
4. Right click on the item pane column header and enable the Annotations column

How to use

1. Right click on the item pane header, then add the Pinned Items column
2. Click the pin in the header to sort pinned items to the top
3. Right click on the item pane header, then set the secondary sorting
4. Right click on items to pin / unpin them (note: you can pin items in different collections independently)
