Unable to install a Dynamo for Revit update #2591

Dynamo version 2.0.4.0 Revit 2019 Operating system: Windows 10

I am trying to update Dynamo for Revit to the latest version.

When I click on the update icon, I get a message that Dynamo needs to exit the application in order to update.

But when I click on "OK" to close all Dynamo and host applications, Revit and Dynamo get closed but nothing else happens.

What am I doing wrong? is there any other way to update Dynamo for Revit?

Same goes for any Dynamo version。

Dynamo will be released with Revit as a built-in Addin after Revit 2020. Their version is one-to-one. You can get the latest DynamoRevit version with the new Revit version.

For your issues, may be some thing wrong with the Dynamo update function? @mjkkirschner @QilongTang , do you have any suggestions about this?

@azemmo In this case, I would try uninstall your local Dynamo and Dynamo Revit 2.0.x first and download the 2.0.4 installer rom dynamobuilds.com and run the it with everything closed.
