SLIM currently works with the CESM2.1 release, but must be downloaded from this repository until we finish implementing it properly into the main CESM code.

Limitation: Only the NUOPC driver is available for CICE6 #84
In bringing in CICE6 for the cesm2_3 branch, I found that only the NUOPC driver is available for CICE6. There was a MCT directory for CICE6, but it must be incomplete or have issues. So this means using CICE6 won't be possible, until we get the NUOPC cap working for SLIM.
The build gives the following error:
ERROR: only the CMEPS nuopc driver is current supported
