Previous posts indicated a Linux Driver expected Q1 2023 , now end of Q2 . If this has been dropped please advise so that we can discontinue the Efinix route . Our product mandates internet connection to AWS for an Efinix based AI edge device . So sans Ethernet on Efinix we can not run TCP/Ip stack , so would have to look to a Rockchip solution .
My T120F324 dev kit uses a DM9119 phy with the TSEMAC for IP connectivity My T160 dev kit requires a plug in phy daughter card using a Realtek 8211FD for ethernet , again with the TSEMAC.
Question : are there any plans to enable and implement TCP/IP functionality on Linux for these boards and if so is there a rough timeline ?.
I ask this as TCP/IP connectivity , with Linux running on a softcore RISC-V on an Efinix FPGA is an essential prerequisite for ' design in ' of the Efinix chip.
