Users should be able to open a Dicom folder and sort by study, user, and other filters. Action: The user drags and drop a folder or hits a button or menu to select the folder/file to open. Focus: open Dicom files and extract high-density pixel data to be rendered.

Extras:

• upload data to DocDo server or use orthanc server.
• All files open can be stored in a local DB that can be further synced with a remote server. Store data locally. https://web.dev/persistent-storage/

• MINC

Update. We are going to use GDCM and focus on Dicom only for now.
