So don't develop on Cedar yet? #267

Reading though this and looking at the last commits, it seems then that I shouldn't be incorporating Cedar into any applications, because it's about to go through (is going through) some big changes from Vega to either amCharts or plot.ly. I'm running into some challenges and I'm unsure whether it's useless to highlight these now or wait for the 1.0 release.

Thanks!

@crackernutter great question!

We developed and feel good about Cedar JSON 1.0, but have not yet released Cedar JS 1.0. We expect to have a beta-1.0 in the next two weeks. It would be superb to have your feedback on that.

Can you let us know what issues you are running into so we can incorporate that in our planning and testing?

And I see that you're in DC - so perhaps you can come by our office in 2 weeks to review it and talk about the project in detail.

I really just spent an hour or so trying to replace a dojo pie chart with a cedar chart, and had some issues with configuration, sizing, and labeling. I didn't get into the weeds at all. Once Cedar JS 1.0 is released, I'd be happy to take a look again. The project requirements are small - just two pie charts in an application.
