Debianization #9

Hi Alex, could you please have a look at multipletau and see if it meets all requirements to be packaged with Debian?

If everything is ok, could you please debianize multipletau. Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul, the very initial packaging is here: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=debian-med/python-multipletau.git I'll try to finish it next week.

  • it works with both python and python3.
  • it has a sphinx documentaion
  • it has setup.py
  • it has setup.cfg (that is just copied from PyCorrFit - I am not sure if it is complete)

Hi Paul, could you please provide an abstract for the doc-base: something similar to this: http://sources.debian.net/src/python-numpy/1:1.8.1-1/debian/python-numpy-doc.doc-base but for multipleatau: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=debian-med/python-multipletau.git;a=blob;f=debian/python-multipletau-doc.doc-base

Hi Alex, I think this abstract should work:

This is the documentation of multipletau. The documentation includes a reference manual which details functions in multipletau, describing what they are and what they do.

The description of the package looks fine.

Hi Paul, Good news - it was accepted in the new queue: https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/python-multipletau_0.1.4-1.html Should appear in unstable within a week. Best, Alex
