Stalling after "Initialize server socket(s)", with the server NOT showing as available on the client iPad/iPhone. I have started the avahi service, and the firewall is inactive.

If you dont see the server available, is not a firewall problem, instead , it means that avahi is not making the connection

You should maybe start the ipad/iphone searching for a connection before you start UxPlay
