Android version crashes when launching hl

The app crashes as soon as it opens hl1. Tried with an old version of hl1 (and cstrike) and with the newest version from steam and still.

Specs: Android 14 Samsung A55

How exactly it crashes?..

Does it show anything useful?

If not, can you post a logcat?

It loads the menu, then immediately crashes Idk about the log file, where is it?

I found that if I try to reopen the tab it shows "There's something wrong with your game..." I can't even take a screenshot

Now it doesn't even load the game, and for some reason, after opening the app, I can't access to my storage until I reboot wth

Installed an old version of hl. The menu loads and the game instantly crashes, but if I quickly load a game before the crash, the game runs fine

With the latest steam version the logo doesn't show. It also loads instantly, instead of after 30 s~

The Google Play version of the engine is outdated.

Using latest build. Still crashes

It was working for me, Redemption, Decay, HL1, Blue Shift worked fine, then i tried Opp Force and it crashed in the V22 at the beginning and it corrupted all of the games and no matter how many times i reinstall the APK and re extract my game files, it can no long play any of the games and now shows a two tone black screen every time i try them.

So it did run great until i tried playing Opp Force. Well it is a test version (installed on an SD as extended storage).

Edit 05/17/24: used my phone's Gamemode settings to test out my phone's alternate resolutions in game and i Maxed it out and tested and it appeared to start playing, bare in mind i lowered my phones resolution to reduce battery drain, my phone is strange though, it can play games for hours happily, but you make a phone call and its dead in around an hour, lol 😅😜. Though Opposing Force is still buggy, it still crashes when the V22 is attacked, if you use the command to skip to the next area it bugs out and cannot progress. So HL, BS and Redemption work mostly fine, but OF is buggy.
