This repository hosts codelists of long-term conditions addressed in a multimorbidity study developed by researchers from the Queen Mary University of London, Welcome Trust Sanger Institute and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Codelist reviewed. This includes both obesity as a condition, its complications (e.g. sleep apnoea), and bariatric surgery.
NB not everyone with obesity will have a diagnostic code for the condition so we will need to construct a that includes BMI measurement. We will need to discuss whether we use ethnicity-adjusted cutoffs or not.
