Hi, the application is based on equations assuming a fluid surrounding a solid. The main implication of this is that the environment remains unchanged. In the case of a sphere inside the bulk material it may work "as is" only if the conductivity constant of the surrounding material is very high. Otherwise, we have a situation in which the immediate surroundings of the sphere don't dissipate heat fast enough and the model wouldn't be an accurate representation of reality. I will leave the issue open and impliment it if I find or deduce a better model for this case.
Can the Heat Transfer Transient Analysis calculate the case of a sphere inside the bulk material? I see many similar settings for that.
