Redesign icons and other artwork

Hi,

Up-front: I am not a lawyer. But my understanding of forks of FLOSS software is that usually, the branding and artwork is not covered by the GPL.

I don't want to add to the high-priority things here, but considering the party that upstream is getting sold to, it would probably be wise to figure out the copyright- and trademark-status of the artwork and branding present in the repositories and get replacements in place.

going back to my semi-shitpost edit of ronnie's icon, does anyone like the Y being used to underline the rest of the text it neatly from the separate the slogan?

No, I personally don't like that.

Either we remove the bird and make the name the logo, or we keep the bird/symbol and keep the name as simple as possible.

Best one. Though i wonder if the eye and the beak might to be to small or detailed. I guess these logo does will mostly be viewed on android phones, and will be in a small format. Would you mind making an other example that have more of and more circular shape, rather than oval and without the flat cut at the bottom?

In heraldic rules animals should be facing left (the animals right), I suggest that the phoenix should be facing left as of the above example.

@RustoMCSpit This are the best one in my mind. Though those little notches at the bottom i'm unsure of. Aslo woundn't it look better with a rounden bottom instead of a flat one? A flat bottom looks fine used with a name, but as a standalone logo without a text, a straight line bottom might look a bit weird?

Thank you all for your work on this project! My two cents: I really like the last generated logo @naveensingh It grabs its essence(the other generated too convoluted)

I meant 25% on all sides but it looks good so let's just leave it.

It's really subjective, the bird looking to the left or right can be associated with 'rooted in the past' or future orientation like moving forward, progress, etc. I'd say flip it.

Anyway, this iteration is good enough for now. Please remove the rounded corners from the background because all platforms usually apply the rounded corners themselves. I'll create an 'artwork' repo now and then you can open a PR with these files.

Ah, I don't really remember. I think it was Montserrat heavy. The current one is Roboto heavy.

I really like this overall design! Great work! My only gripe with it is the eye which looks kinda weird in there. I made some modifications, maybe you'll like this?

We don't have the project logo anywhere in the apps. Also, the current design is good enough for now. Maybe I'll redesign it in the future but it's not important now.
