Disable Fog not working. #25

The DIsable Fog tickbox has no effect on a friend of mine's installation. All other things seem to be functional.

I have reinstalled multiple times with admin privileges, tried reinstalling the base game, the mods, the mod manager, all to no effect.

@beurar Reinstalling will most likely not help your friend at all. The no fog functionality is basically a "hack" of the process memory of soulstorm. For it to work you must start the DoW Mod Manager itself with admin privileges or else it will most likely have not sufficient write permissions for the hack to be written to the process memory.

Hmmm I have tried it, but perhaps he has something interfering. I will investigate further. Thank you for the response, I really appreciate it, and thank you for your work on the mod manager. It is really appreciated.

Yeah check if the antivirus/firewall is not blocking it since it may look suspicious to it.
