Truncated lat / long #1

Hi,

I'm wondering if you've encountered the issue where lat / long values are truncated. It seems to be an issue for cases where the coordinates are taken from the Locality info and the Locality field is really long and truncated. For example this locality field of a record: 263 Northbridge, Sydney suburb. Tunnel track near gate off Deepwater Rd, -33.79694 1...

The ellipsis (...) is at the end of the locality info, but the end result is that the longitude is truncated to 1.

Thanks for any help, Tim

Hi Tim, yes I am aware of this. But even after some discussions with the rSymbiota folks they didn’t wanted to change this. I’m sorry but this won’t change. As far as I remember I also wrote this in the tutorial... but I might be wrong... Cheers Franz
