Ai Trading System

This is a simple ai trading system for me to slowly learn how todo algorithmic trading using alpaca paper trades. Like many of the skeptics on algotrading, I doubt I could make money with this and expect to fail 100%.

To run

python3.8 ai-trading-system/src/app.py

Discord is intended to contain all messages produced by the bot.

The standard way to log a message is, within a repository

self._logger.info('Calculating forecast with the given data...')

In order to pass fields into discord, we need to pass a dict on the logger function, for example

self._logger.info("AI trading system starting...", {"version": __version__})

Running on gcp

To start in background

screen -dm python3 main.py -S ai_trading_bot

To reattach

screen -x <screen_name>
