3 years ago It is because:
- in GOG Galaxy there is no support for DLCs yet
- different game editions in Galaxy have to be separate items
- in Steam GOTY is NOT a different game edition, they have "stacked license" feature. In other words Steam displays "GOTY" version when you own base game + all DLCs.
There is a hack for the Witcher 3 in the plugin just to show Witcher GOTY version at all (because it is so popular game of CDRP). Looks like the hack is not complete, it can be improved by switching id of installed game instead of the base game.
It is a matter of choice if we want to go deeper with this hack to support installed GOTY Witcher (it potentially requires detection of INSTALLED DLCs, remove it completely or maybe leave as is just to have it in user library)
В стиме куплена и установлена а в gog galaxy показывает что установлена обычная версия игры. При этом в библиотеке отображается и goty издание тоже но оно якобы не установлено (на компьютер скачано именно goty издание а gog galaxy считает что это обычное)
