GOG Galaxy gets stuck at "importing" but only when using steam integration #146

So it's been a few weeks since I last launched Galaxy 2.0. I've been using it for years and never had issues - Steam integration always worked as well. Now whenever I try to sync my Steam account with GOG Galaxy it gets stuck at about 120 games (out of over 1300). This also causes other platforms like Ubisoft or GOG itself not to sync, so it only shows those 120 steam games. When I disconnect Steam integration and restart GOG Galaxy, it instantly shows all of my other games.

A temporary fix was to uninstall GOG Galaxy and reinstalling it again. It took a couple minutes importing games and after logging into my Steam account then it showed all of my Steam games at once. I could also login to my other accounts and everything was there. I though that was that. But after restarting GOG Galaxy later the same problem occured once again.

To Reproduce

  1. Log in with steam account
  2. After waiting for over an hour it still stays stuck at a random percentage (usually around 25-35%)

Expected behavior The whole library should be shown in GOG Galaxy 2.0.

been having this issue as well. starting to regret updating to the latest version, had zero issues on previous updates from a few months ago.

This issue continues to persist. Clearing out the cached steam plugin data no longer works as a fix.
