Merging of SP and MP EXEs #98

I currently have some games on steam that have multiple launchers in the Steam library. For example, many of the steam Call of Duty games have a single player and multiplayer "launchers." Some of them with merge into one game (like Modern Warfare 3), and allows you to select MP or SP like launching from another platform. I like them merged, but have no idea what causes some to merge (MW3, and COD: MW Remastered), and others to remain as separate (The Ship, MW2, Black Ops, Black Ops 2, COD: Ghosts, COD: Advanced Warfare). I'm unsure if this is a GOG Galaxy thing or the integration thing.

could you please attach some screenshots and explain what do you mean exactly by "merging"?

Also tell us: -> What is current state -> What do you expect to happen

Then I can tell if this is integration or GOG Galaxy issue, or how it could be solved in different way:)

Some older games on steam separate the SP and MP launchers like this: steam MW

In GOG, a few games like COD: MW3 or Modern Warfare Remastered merge them into a single item item and let you select which you want to use via right click: merged mw3

Which is useful, but as a sidenote, it would be nice if it didn't cut off half of the selection. As you can see it is difficult to decide which launcher is which.

Other games like COD: MW2 in GOG still separate the games: modern warfare

I would prefer if games that had multiple launchers for different portion of the games were allowed to merged into the one item. It seems like GOG does this with some items, but not others. As stated above, another great option would be to stop the right click menu from cutting off the name of the game, since the info to decide which launcher I want to use is at the end of the name.

Now I understand the main problem. This issue is related with GOG Galaxy, not with the integration with Steam. Please report it via Galaxy application, you can do it by clicking "Report issue" in settings icon. Do you know any other games titles with the same case as above mentioned Call of Duty?

Mainly Call of Duty, but looks like also the original "The Ship". The Ship, MW2, Black Ops, Black Ops 2, COD: Ghosts, COD: Advanced Warfare. I will report on GOG, thanks.
