Zakat Application

About the Project

The Zakat Application is in development to become a secure and transparent Zakat donation platform. Currently, the project has integrated Firebase for initial backend support, allowing us to manage authentication, user data and real-time updates. As we expand, blockchain and additional database functionality will enhance the transparency, global efficiency, traceability and security of Zakat transactions.

Features

• Zakat Calculation: Users can easily calculate their Zakat based on their assets.
• Donation Platform: Facilitates donations to deserving individuals, categorized by their needs.
• User Authentication: Login and registration functionality, including Google sign-in for ease of access.
• Recipient Descriptions: Donors can view descriptions of individuals in need, such as orphans, widows, or war victims, to make informed donation choices.
• Donor Recognition: Donors earn points for each donation, recognizing their generosity and encouraging continued support.

Installation

To get a local copy of the project up and running, follow these steps:
