Feature Request: Charge Indication LED #157

Open cspacone opened 2 years ago

cspacone commented 2 years ago

I'm running a T-Beam 1.1 433MHz. running T-BEAM V1.0 + OLED code.

When plugged into USB the installed 18650 battery gets slightly warm, I'm pretty sure that this indicates the battery is charging. Running Meshtastic in a prior iteration and the charge LED comes on flashes indicating charging state. Can't recall if it goes off when battery is topped off or if it stays on steady.

Feature Request: Add code to enable on-board charge LED indication.

Note I'd be grateful for instructions / hints if this is something that I should be able to do by editing and recompiling.

Thanks and 73, -Chris, KD6OUB

the charging led is driven by the AXP192. there is no code in TinyGS to manipulate it. look at the schematic and you see it on the last page top left (CHGLED) https://github.com/Xinyuan-LilyGO/LilyGo-LoRa-Series/blob/master/schematic/LilyGo_TBeam_V1.1.pdf
