Existing Project Metrics #362

Closed courtneycorwin closed 5 years ago

courtneycorwin commented 5 years ago

Hi All,

There are a bunch of mismatches for the existing metric section of the business case. The schema indicates that we should be using performanceMetricID and agencyPerformanceMetricID. The sample file indicates metricId and agencyMetricId. But after navigating around some error messages, I think the correct nodes are metricID and agencyMetricID.

Since agencyMetricID is the only thing that didn't result in an error so far (my agencies don't use the dashboard IDs in general), I'm going to stick with that, but just wanted to confirm.

Let me know, thanks! Courtney

Hi All,

Still looking for a confirmation on this. Thanks!

Hi Courtney,

Thank you for your comments. MetricID is for the projects table, and performanceMetricID is for the metrics table.

In addition, updated versions of the serviceRequest, updateInvestment, and investmentResponse XSDs for the Business Case API endpoint have been published to the GitHub, so please refer to those.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks, Sam ITDB Support

Hi Sam,

I see that the update has been made in the xsd version that was posted earlier today. It's still incorrect in the example file, but given where we are in the schedule, this is much less of a concern.

Thanks! Courtney

Hi Courtney,

Although this was discussed during the Vendor Meeting yesterday, we want to make sure this thread is closed out on GitHub.

As discussed, the example files may not be updated as frequently as the XSDs and supplemental XML files. Therefore, the example files will not always match the XSDs 100%, but rather should be viewed as a supplemental guide to the XSDs.

As always, if you have any trouble validating your XML against the XSDs, please feel free to reach out to us.

Thank you, ITDB Support
