Tried another training and it was different but still was Training Arc10 with the same instructions

which training did you try? and by same as arc10, do you mean you had arc10 instructions?

I tried one of Komaki's (I know he's not called that in Ishin) trainings and it still said Arc10 and had the same instructions as well

same issue on ps3 hardware, i’ve got a reddit thread going trying to get around it. not sure if it’s patch or dump related though because it does the same thing if i re-open before this on the disc version

most likely patch related

The solution for me was play that section on nonpatched BLJM61149 version of the game. Rpcs3 still picked up the save from this translated NPJB00532, so it was literally a matter of playing this section, saving and opening the new save on the translated version. The bug is that the translated version is waiting for you to press R1+square, where as the move is actually L1+triangle.

PS The workaround above worked for both Brawler and Sword dojos. just make sure to save in GT version BEFORE going for the Arc10 trial, if you save after the trial has looped, even a nonpatched game will load the glitched trial. Other dojo trials work fine on the GT game without the workaround.
