Getting it running
So one of our APIs doesn't work well with CORS and so for it to actually work you need to run Chrome with security disabled (obvioulsy a bad idea but our project is awesome). You need to run the following command. Let us know if you have problems.
For OS X close Chrome and open in Terminal:
open -a Google\ Chrome --args --disable-web-security --user-data-dir
On Linux it should be something like:
google-chrome --disable-web-security --user-data-dir
News Analysis API
The aim of our api is to take the top ten news headlines from News API and pass these to Text Razor, which will return a category analysis of each headline. Using the data returned from News Razor, we'll create an inforgraphic (probably a pie chart) that shows the emphasis of the news by category.

- Minimise DOM manipulation (expensive!)
- DRY code (refactor to function calls)
- Everyone on the team must write at least one test
Bonus
- Mobile first
- Nice design (CSS)
- Use local storage or session storage
