No Growl Notifications #2

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected that once I checked a game or a user that when the status of that
item changed I would
get a growl notification, to which I do not.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac Live 1.0
Mac OS X for Intel 10.4.8

zoltak: can you take a look in console.app? there might be something useful in
there.

The other thing you might do is check your growl preferences pane. First off
make sure that Mac Live is
registered with Growl (it registers automatically with Growl on startup) so if
it isn't there then I'll look in to that.
If it is registered with Growl, make sure that the alerts that Mac Live sends
are enabled. They should be by
default, but maybe this doesn't work all the time, I dunno.

The other thing is Mac Live polls only every 60 seconds, so it can take up to a
minute before you'll receive a
notification from Growl.

This is pretty old, and apart from user error / misconfigured systems, growl
notifications work.

I actually stopped using the program, but with the recent notification of
responses to this I opened it back up.
Seems to be working correctly now, although the only thing I have done is keep
my Mac up-to-date and I just
upgraded to Safari 3.0 Beta.
