Friend requests don't work for some people

*What steps will reproduce the problem?*
1. Send a friend request (either through the services menu or the add friend 
panel)

*What is the expected output?*
After about a minute you should see a growl notification stating that a friend 
request has been 
sent.

*What do you see instead?* 
Apparently nothing

In the article on MacLive at 
http://99lives.org/2007/02/11/xbox-live-mac-maclive/ it was 
stated that the "there is one really nice feature present but its also 
currently broken — the ability 
to add friends."

I personally cannot reproduce this issue on any of my machines.  Adding friends 
works just fine 
for me.  It may be the case that people are simply misunderstanding how "Add 
Friend" works.  I 
guess maybe I should re-label the feature.  If you add a friend, a friend 
request is sent to them 
over xbox live.  That friend then has to accept your request before they will 
appear in your 
friends list.

If anybody is able to reproduce this issue by sending a friend request and then 
verifying that the 
friend request is never received please post here with any info that you can.
