Add View: bring in types filter iterated view #2046

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The images and icons currently used to select types don't really say what the types are on adding. They also take up a lot of space.

Describe the solution you'd like There is already work to bring in #1996 which could be used for this section, for example here:

What this doesn't do is maybe explain so well the types, but it does take up less space and there is room for a description. It also unifies with the other work going on already. If this is planned already please close this issue.

Describe alternatives you've considered An alternative could be to add more descriptive images showing real layouts as proposed in #2039
