Add View: iterate filtering interface to reduce space #2049

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The filtering interface takes up a lot of space and doesn't use some patterns in WP could be used to ease the visual density. By refining this a little it would both take up less space and also make it clearer. Here is what currently is in place:

Describe the solution you'd like The following uses the existing patterns from the editor and modifies to suit the purpose of filtering.

Additional context This will need to have a grid view, which most likely would be similar to pattern and block view browsing.

Closing this as moving to the iterations project board to focus on that.
