What You'll Do (Job Description)

Are you a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with an excellent knowledge of front-end web and mobile design, who thrives in a changing and challenging environment? Do you have an analytical mindset and keen eye for detail? If this describes you, Spothot has an immediate opening for a Front End Developer to join our team.

You will be primarily responsible for writing high quality source code; program complete applications within deadlines; conducting functional and non-functional testing; evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features; and develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code.

What You Need to Be Successful (Skills)

Must Have

• 3 years experience developing mobile applications, web applications, or PWA’s
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
• Strong Javascript and Typescript experience. Experience building web applications using HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end web frameworks (Preferably Angular/Ionic)
• Experience working with version tracking (Git)
• Experience in building and distributing applications for testing
• Experience in releasing applications to App Stores
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience building RESTful API's and working with NodeJS
• Experience with database administration and knowledge of relational (SQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) database systems
• Experience with AWS resources
• Experience deploying serverless applications
• Google Map or Mapbox experience

Relevant Experiences

• Mobile/web app technology
• User Interface design
