I understand your point but the form before the brackets is considered a writing and the form between the brackets a reading. I think there is a logic in having always the writings and readings in the same order, which is why I use highlight to mark the common forms.
If you think I don't understand your proposal you may give an example including current and expected display, or propose something better that will enable to distinguish readings and writings.

Can you explain that part? I used Takoboto dictionary before Sumatora and the proprietary one always made clear if a kana writing is more common than the kanji one. I see you make clear for which kana writing/reading is more common and this is cool, but many times in japanese a word will write in kana.
I looked at Takoboto and I understand the need. I am thinking about the proper way to display this and will keep you posted.
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Please make clear if a word is commonly writed in kana or kanji, by putting the writing in kana before the kanji and vice-versa. The highlighting of common kanji writing is available, but it's side by side the highlighting kana write which always are between brakets, would interesting to remove the kana highlighting, but make it clear when the kana writing is more common than the kanji one.
