Discovered when playing rando so I'm not sure if it normally happens, I'm guessing it saves when you get the item but before rupees are taken out and the item is marked out of stock

Didn't see till now, timezones and all, but yeah it happens with them

That's what I figured. I think just disabling autosave after buying something is the best way to go, especially since in most cases, you'll be leaving the grotto/shop and trigger autosave on area change right after that anyway.
