[Feature Request] Freestanding Mystery #3198

As kind of opposition to Chest Appearance Matches Contents, LuigiXHero and I believe it would be very entertaining to have an option to visually obfuscate freestanding items such that they all just look like pieces of heart, even if they're ice traps, so that you never know what you'll get just by looking at them.

I may simply end up doing this myself at some point, I just have too much else on my plate to get started immediately.

Patrick did have that idea in Discord. I don't know how we'd feel about having that be the default model in SoH, though.

yeah, def not something that could go into soh.otr, just the first thing that came to mind when i heard "n64" and "question mark"

Same. Then we just need a custom sequence that mimics the sound it make for the fanfare! haha

We could even set up its own sound trigger if we wanted, and customize that based on whether it's a good item or bad item and have the MK64 "Lose Race" jingle for getting a junk item XD
