Randomizer Junk Hint Ideas (and some for non-junk hints)

There was an issue on the old rando issue tracker for fun junk hint ideas, but it doesn't seem to have made it over to this tracker and we have had some more suggestions.

1. There is a hint left over from the 3DS code that still references checking your 3DS battery. It would be a nice attention to detail if we can check which platform SoH is running on and give an appropriate hint, such as swapping out 3DS for Laptop, Steam Deck, or Switch.
2. It was suggested by @Stormghetti on Discord that we could potentially add sfx to the hints as well. Specifically, the idea to add CD-i Ganon's "you must die" voice clip (voiced by a sound-alike) while Ganon is giving his Light Arrow hint was listed as an example, which I like but I'm not sure of the legality of it. I could also see us using that functionality when the auto-tracker has capabilities to track things like which Ganon's Trials are required, to key the player in that the tracker has been updated.

To add to the first point, line 1384 is yet another 3DS-exclusive line (unless you count the Wii U and Switch ports of SoH). There's bound to be more.

Junk Hint suggestions:

1. "They say a ship sails in the morning." (Might be too similar to an already-existing hint.)
2. "They say high-definition textures are on the way of the Hero."
3. "Potsanity when?" (A line from the most recent SoH Direct as of this writing. That feature is far away from now, so it'll take a while for it to become outdated.)
4. "It is written, "Only @ can defeat Ganon.""
5. "They say the ice at Zora's Domain can be melted with a red ashtray." (Alluding to a hoax featured at GDQ's OoT Triforce% run. The ashtray portion could be omitted entirely if it's too on the nose.)
6. "They say SRM is on the way of the Cheater."
7. "They say you can go on an adventure involving a recipient made out of glass."
8. "They say that glitch was patched."
9. "@ can't wait to bomb some Dodongos."
10. "They say copyright infringement is on the way of the Law."
11. "This hint text is barely even 50B in size."
12. "Why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food?" (I don't want there to be too many memes to reduce the likelihood of them becoming unfunny in the future, but this one's timeless to me.)
13. "SoH has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
14. "Admin, he's doing it backward!"
15. "Node Graph out of Date. Rebuilding..."
16. "Sorry, something went wrong.^A team of highly trained Deku has been dispatched."
17. "Welcome to Ship of Harkinian.^After 4 months in development, hopefully, it would have been worth the wait."

A few other ideas:

• Junk hints could also depend on the system's time and date, like holidays and such. It's doable, but I'm unsure if we'll want to do this.
• Another idea I had was age-specific hints. A good example would be my 5th suggestion since it doesn't make sense for Child Link's era.
• Yet another idea I had was mask-specific hints.
• Yet yet another idea I had was flavor text that only exists if the player is running common recording software such as Xsplit and OBS. A few games add dialogue when recording software is running, such as Doki Doki Literature Club. It leads to funny interactions if the person running the software is live streaming. I'm not sure it's feasible for the project, but if it is, I was thinking the flavor text wouldn't replace hints during seed generation. Rather, it would add on to them by attaching specific texts after in a random amount of hints. An example using non-junk hints: "They say X is on the way of the Hero.^Wait...^I'm not on camera, am I?" The potential problem with this is people using the randomizer in runs. It's an extra text that could be avoided by not recording your game, so I don't know how we'd handle that. If you use the "skip text" enhancement it's not much of an issue since you barely lose precious time, but it's something to think about.

And now, introducing...Stones that talk about each other? My idea is to make one Stone say something and if there's another Stone within the vicinity, make it say something about the other Stone. One idea I had was one Stone saying something like:

• "They say that Stone beside me cannot be trusted even with the mask that can see the truth."

To which the nearby Stone replies with:

• "They say that other Stone is a liar.^Don't believe me? Use the Mask of Truth on it."

And the joke would be that if you go talk to the first Stone with the Mask of Truth and then talk to the other, you'd see that both Stones are lying to deceive you...somehow. I don't have any witty text to go along with that, but I'm sure we could do something like that. The idea behind the Mask of Truth part is that you can now have every mask in your inventory so as long as you have completed the mask sidequest thanks to a PR.
