this.ranked variable is not being used to decide if the rating should be updated or not.

Another thing: shouldn't this variable be named isRanked instead since it is a boolean?

Didn't notice that, but thanks for pointing out and I like to name my booleans without the is, but I can add an is, if you want. I don't really mind it being there or not being there.
