Unable to shrink tab region #41

Closed Cody-G closed 6 years ago

This applies only to the current waveform branch. With our current computer monitor on OCPI2 the default window gives a lot of space to the tab region (on the left) and not much space for the image region (on the right). Usually I shrink the tab area by dragging with the mouse, but on this branch I can't shrink it anymore. I thought maybe it's because we added more tabs, but that can't be it because it happens even in the window with few tabs. Here are screen shots pointing out what I mean:

The full window: fullview

The vertical strip where I usually can drag to decrease the width of the tab region: resize_strip

@kdw503 do you have any idea of how to fix this?

kdw503 commented 7 years ago

@Cody-G I will fix the width with a certain suitable value. Until then, you can move out the tab window from main window temporally.

I tried that, and it helps a little bit, but even after I remove the tab windows there is still a minimum width that I cannot change.

We need to change some parameters of GUI file. Do you want to change it now?

Cody-G commented 7 years ago

Is it something that we should do together? If so I can join you this afternoon. If not then just go ahead and make the change when you can please.

@Cody-G OK. I will fix the problem soon.

This is better now, thanks @kdw503
