Why use this over progwrp.dll if it's also closed source? #3

The entire reason to have an alternative to progwrp.dll is to have it be open source, so it can be confirmed to be safe. I might as well just use progwrp.dll if I'm risking it with a closed source component.

You can use that DLL, which you want to use.

I desided to open sources after author of original opens it. Else which benefit I will have ? :) Not for myself. Not for his (he do busines around it). I have created it for myself, becasue I need sources, but author of original had no plan to publish them. And because of "Not invented here" As proof of concept that it can be reproduced and enhanced. And now I'm improving it.

So, sorry, its also not open while. You can do it also if you want :-). If you really need the sources, and ready to spent you time for it :)

I don't exactly need it myself as I use Firefox based stuff, I just want something in the Chromium on XP side that I can trust and feel safe recommending to people. That it doesn't have a RAT, token stealer, or other such malware hidden in it.

Yes, I'm understand you. I also like opensource code. But my (and his) DLL is not encrypted, So you can just load it to IDA and check for malware.
