Why? It's quite a cool thing that's easy to setup and has a very large potential. From as simple as storing data to deploying machine learning models on that database. How am I eligible? I've made an ERP system for a factory using Firebase. I made an app for it using Android Studio which did all the authentication and data storing on the Firebase real time database.

I think target audience could be second/third year students. We should get a healthy participation of ~20ish participants.

This way you could keep it both hands-on and do intermediate level topics

Healthy participation = ~20ish participants?

From seniors, yep

Well I think a few first years would be interested as well, if we first do a simple JS or Android session. Plus when I learnt firebase, I was learning JS along and it wasn't an issue. I'll tell a few extra JS stuff along with firebase, making a simple website would be really simple and good way to learn firebase.
