SOW 008: make homepage, article pages, category pages denser

• [x] updates to Largo 0.6
• [x] single-article pages move the article featured down into the aritcle's main column
• [x] adds author avatar output on single post bylines
• [x] scales single-article font size with browser width
• [x] viewport-height-based layout changes for homepage that put the image beside the story. Use same for region pages.
• [x] Improve display text for daily email digest on home/region pages. Problem: Currently it’s not very clear and dominates the pages.
• [x] Streamline existing typefaces and/or review new options to be use on the site. Update child theme to reflect desired typeface(s).
• [x] font alternatives for display type
• [x] use cropped aspect ratios for thumbnails on homepage, not uploaded aspect ratios.

Post-merge tasks:
