As a user I want the app to be more responsive so I can use the booking tool on a mobile device. #413

Heard from a student today that using the tool on their phone was not possible. I tried and can confirm. I've attached two screenshots below - there's overlapping text/assets and the "I agree" button is offscreen. I am able to scroll up to see the button, but not able to actually press the button and proceed with a request.

@ss12430 this is not a bug so much as the tool is not designed to be 'mobile first'. at our last dev team meeting we did talk about some things we can do to make the app more responsive (mobile friendly) which would likely improve matters but it's exceedingly unlikely the app is ever going to be optimized for mobile use. it's really a desktop tool.

Agree with Noah, making the UI perfect on mobile would require all the time spent this summer x2. But I will do what I can to make it usable on mobile so that nothing critical is blocked

Hi all, I am pretty concerned with this not being functional on mobile. To be honest, when we spoke about this at the meeting I didn't realize it was not functional and had more the impression that it was somewhat clunky. While I do agree it is okay for this to be desktop first, I need to be realistic that many of our users are used to using their phones and it would be a large downgrade to make that not possible with the new tool. Would it be possible to at least make it functional and have less overlapping text?
