Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, our release activity feed does not track or display when a release is submitted or withdrawn. This omission makes it difficult for users to follow the lifecycle of a release and lacks transparency in the management process.
Describe the solution you'd like
Enhance the release activity feed by adding entries for when a release is submitted and when it is withdrawn. This should include:
Timestamps: Exact date and time when the release was submitted or withdrawn.
User Information: Who submitted or withdrew the release.
Status Updates: Automatic updates to the release's status in the feed to reflect these actions.
Describe alternatives you've considered
As an alternative, we could send email notifications for these events, but integrating them directly into the activity feed ensures that all relevant information is accessible in one place without the need for email management.
Additional context
Adding these events to the activity feed will:
Increase transparency by providing a clear, chronological record of key actions.
Enhance user engagement by keeping all stakeholders informed of the release status changes in real-time.
Improve auditability and tracking of release management processes.
