Tag a new version #142

Closed dzenanz closed 3 years ago

dzenanz commented 3 years ago

Version number was incremented by f33b5e97755ae536fce33ae2bf96e59f1439d36d in anticipation of tagging v0.6.1. As there is some PR activity going on, we should tag after it finishes. But before that, we should add PyPI token as per Matthew so the new binaries are automatically uploaded.

The pypi_secret has been added to the repo. I also invited you and thewtex to the pypi repo (only the itkrobot and myself were owners)

I think we should be ready to do this after #146 and #145 come up green.

How does the process work? We just tag with v0.6.1 and everything triggers?

We should merge them into master first.

I think so.

I suggest to wait until current master (d4d63c5e01c2e3b95bae72e916a50454946dbedd) comes back with a green CI, and then tagging it.

phcerdan commented 3 years ago

It will come, both PR's were green

phcerdan commented 3 years ago

I just did it, I missed your message, sorry! :P

I missed this message

No biggie. If something goes wrong, fix the cause, bump version in setup.py and make a new tag. It should be as simple as that.

@PranjalSahu the new version of the package is available on PyPI: https://pypi.org/project/itk-isotropicwavelets/0.6.1/ Can you test it?

PranjalSahu commented 3 years ago

Hello Dzenan

I am able to install it using pip.

Now I am checking the functionality using the python interface also. Also I think we should add some sample usage with python on the github homepage. I can create a PR later for this.

Thanks
