ENH: Reset direction to identity before forward wavelet #97

@phcerdan What is the status of this branch? Should it be abandoned, removed, incorporated?

This should be incorporated after some extra testing, thanks @hjmjohnson.

Also because I transferred this repo, I lost the ability to fork it (https://github.com/phcerdan/ITKIsotropicWavelets points to https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/ITKIsotropicWavelets), so bare with me if you see some experimental branches :)

@phcerdan Can this be merged as an incremental improvement? It has been outstanding for a long time now.

I'd like to get it out of my list of open "PR's".

1) can you get a copy and make PR from your account? 2) can we incorporate this as is?

On Jan 1st, 2019, I am closing this issue if it is not resolved by then.

No, I cannot because as I said, I transfer this repo to the InsightSoftwareConsortium, so I cannot fork it.

No, build is failing. I am working on this, will update today.
