A water wheel when submerged in a water current starts turning to do work. Can be turned to electricity with the help of a generator but can also directly be used to do stuff.
Heat
A boiler where you pump in water and burn something to get steam that can be used for work or electricity.
Geothermal generators placed deep in the earth will produce heat to heat a boiler or other things.
Air
Wind turbines placed on high altitude will generate more power but also wear more on the generator or blades unless you disable it.
