YES! 24.04.1 Ubuntu is just an updated Ubuntu 24.04 . Use the 24.04 Branch / Script.
This also means if Ubuntu decide to have another major update say 24.04.2 or .3 etc..

Ubuntu 24.10 Oracular Oriole Hyprland install script branch

✨ How to install?

clone repo including the branch.

[!IMPORTANT] Make SURE you include the branch by adding -b BRANCH. Example below for downloading from 24.10 Branch

git clone -b 24.10 --depth=1  https://github.com/JaKooLit/Ubuntu-Hyprland.git ~/Ubuntu-Hyprland
cd ~/Ubuntu-Hyprland
chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh

[!IMPORTANT] Read through the Readme on each Branches for installation

[!IMPORTANT] make sure to disable any idle or suspend functions on your system else script will fail

FAQ 🙋‍♂️ Will this work on other Distro Based on Ubuntu? Like Linux mint?

Yes, BUT ensure to use the appropriate Ubuntu version. Like latest Linux mint is based on Ubuntu 24.04, you should use the 24.04 branch.
So kindly search which version of Ubuntu is your system running and use appropriate branch

🛎 DEBIAN and UBUNTU Hyprland Dots UPDATING NOTES

[!IMPORTANT] This is very Important for Debian and Ubuntu Dots

Some parts of KooL's Hyprland Dots LINK are not compatible on Debian and Ubuntu especially the hyprland settings.

That is the reason the DOTS for those distro's are "fixed" and they are being pulled on the releases. This releases are NOT in any of the branches of the KooL's Hyprland Dots.

for Debian and Ubuntu if you want to update from newest KooL's dots versions (main branch), after running copy.sh, you will have 100% error which will appear on top. However, Hyprland is very good in pin pointing those errors.
You can simply just remove those lines or add # on those lines. Then, it should be ok.
